Well guys, I got tired of Ironman being so reliable and Donut being so unreliable, so I traded both of them in for a new ride. They made me a sweet deal on a 24 Tahoe, so I took it. It's 2wd but it's tx so that's OK.

Tayhoe! Ever want a rental for 6 months? Draft an 18wheeler and get it into 4 cylinder mode at 85mph, then shower down on it, in a passing lane. Those lifters wont know what to do, but the one i drove got 28mpg to nashville.

Spent the day with some friends in Middle TN. My buddy lives on almost 600 acres and includes a lot of neat rock formations, sinkholes and sandstone arches. The sandstone bluffs have signs where the ocean created them millions of years ago.

I don't have a living dog of my own, but I'm sorta like Polo's step-uncle. He's almost known me as long as he has Casey. But I'm not around nearly as much, and I bring him a treat (if I remember) when I see him. Haha

The tricks are the worst part of yesterday. I've pulled off 2 normal sized ones and at least 20 seed ticks that are so small I can barely see them. I'm sure I'll find more on my body today.

It's not yet time for April fools jokes around here

That's awesome. Millions of years ago, eh? Some people see a little bit of water and a lot of time. Others will see a lot of water and a little amount of time like the deluge caused during Noah's flood.

Yeah, it's something we dealt with in Maine while up there. Thankfully, the seed ones don't do much, and I think it's still up for debate whether they actually carry any potential diseases when that juvenile.

That said, be on the lookout for "bullseye marks" over the coming days/weeks. Lyme disease is no joke. Sometimes they're not glaringly obvious. Not trying to repeat anything you don't already know, IYKYK!

I fucking hate ticks. I had a dog tick attach to my chin inside my goatee while we were in NorCal on one of our hikes. Pissed me off. Supposedly, as long as they're not attached for more than 24 hours, you usually don't need to be overly concerned.

I’ve been reading that possums like to eat ticks. Like up to a few thousand per season.

Might want put one on a rope at the edge of the yard. Keeps the neighbors kids away too so double the benefit.

On my way to the farm yesterday I came up on a Best gen that was destroyed in a wreck. Teenage driver. Not sure who was at fault but the poor tundra paid the price.

    Pour one out...

I saw that recently! Wild. His music isn't my cup of tea but dude is really talented.

I spent my younger life out in the woods all the time, and never thought twice about ticks, had no idea what Lyme disease was. First time I even heard about it was when MTV started that show "Real World", my ex-g/f back then watched it, and a girl on the show had it. First thought I had was, "Man, Lime Disease, she must be really sour about that! HAHAHA!"

Got the 3rd degree rundown of what people who have it deal with. May as well have Lupus, frankly.
