Well, I made the call to a Dealer that I trust and lined up a date on Wednesday AM.

I have scoured the web and there's a shit load of "possible causes" and I do mean a friggin bunch.

Each head lamp has its own controller, also the body controller, load leveling controller, the stem on the tree could be it and there's more,he told me of the 30+ years as the service Manager he has Never had this code....

Yup,yippie I get to be the first

Agreed,I found this thread and there was no current remedy,so I had clicked on each of the posters to reach out in a DM but apparently they were Never on after they had posted...

So I had "re kindled" the fire.

I wonder if it has something to do with the auto leveling.

We see this code pop up a lot on front end collisions. Typically it's connected in with the entire ADAS configuration and it doesn't always mean that your headlamp is actually malfunctioning. This could mean that the sensor that controls the auto-high beams is obscured. This is a little "camera" looking area in your windshield behind your rear view mirror. It controls the auto-high beams, lane trace assist, road sign assist and so forth.

There is another sensor that is located in your front bumper cover (typically behind the flat emblem) and this is the millimeter wave radar. This is what controls your pre-collision, adaptive radar cruise control and so on.

The best bet is to get the dealer to scan the DTCs to see what is actually popping up.

For the last three weeks or so my key fob has been acting "wonkey",when I get in the truck to fire it up the truck does not sense the fob,so I press the lock on the fob while in the drivers seat and it locks, then I unlock it, and then I can start it...

Then other times, when I go to lock it by touching the drivers side or passenger side handle it won't. I'll have to press lock multiple times because it will not recognize it.
I can feel and hear the dull click of the little button on the fob and also noticed the tiny led on the fob won't lumiate.
The battery is good, I changed 6 months ago, and there's no low battery warning on the dash or phone app.and the unlocking has the same fun events.

Sooooo,I had enough of the nonsense and swapped out the factory OEM key fobs and now the warning on the dash and phone app disappeared, when I left work yesterday.
I made several stops on the way home, turning the truck on/off with no warnings or problems. So I reached out to the service mgr and discussed the chain of events and agreed to hold off on the service call and see what happens.

Could it have been a communication conflicts between the fob to truck, kinda dumb and ya wouldn't think so,"headlight system malfunction" key fob?
IDK but time will tell, and another thing, why are smart vehicles so dumb?

I've had at least 3 or 4 times where I get the message headlight malfunction, RSA malfunction and pre collision system malfunction. It usually happens when is over 100F . Took to the dealer a they ordered a new front camera . Let see if that was the problem.
