Hey yall. I lost the bolts to the gas door on my 04 and my local toyota dealer can’t tell me the dimensions for it. Does anybody happen to know? It’s Toyota part #90159-50217

    Taken from the EPC.

The 10-digit hyphenated numbers are the actual Toyota part number. Pick the correct bolt, knowing the top (round) door is for the stepside, and the rectangular one is for the standard bedside. I think the part number ending "-A0002" is probably the one you need? They cost less than a buck a piece if you start your order thru https://autoparts.toyota.com

Thanks shifty. I appreciate the help. I’d rather not have to wait for shipping if you or anybody else happens to know what size the bolt is. I’m actually at Home Depot right now so it’d just save me some time

No clue, sorry! This is ultimately why I have a thread gauge kit at home, and a bucket of spare bolts. If I don't have the spare bolt in my bolt bucket, I'll use my thread finder kit to get the threading, and hit ACE to grab the bolt.

IIRC, it's a 10mm bolt. It'll be metric. Judging by appearance, the bolt shouldn't be more than 2cm long. It looks like a regular-stocked item the local dealership should have in-stock, if you give that specific part number.

I dont plan to pull mine out, but if i had to guess based on the size, its a 6mm x 1.0 x 20mm or 25mm

While I don’t know actual thread size, it took an 8mm socket on my 04 DC….fine threads. Lowes, Ace Hdw etc you could probably find what ya need, no shipping cost.
