    Need some help here, guys.

Bad actuator. Split my transfer case. Brass ring thingy popped out. I know where it goes but not how.

It has two protrusions that must line up. Can anyone say how this goes back?

Possibly fits between the two halves of the things held in by the flat springs halfway down the second pic?

    Thanks

If I remember correctly, spread the two half circles in direction of red arrows. Tabs insert in the space that opens at blue circles.70B99CA7-C4B0-499C-8372-A8DD97509576.jpg

Jowett, thanks for the response. It made sense when I looked at it but wasn't sure. I guess I'm glad it popped off because I'm not sure I would have known to line it up otherwise. Looks like I'll have to set it in there and then mate up the other half.

    Cheers!
