secondary air injection

My bank 1 secondary air injection check valve has gone bad. I really think I am just going to replace both valves... However, I can only find 1 of the valves for purchase... do they fit both driver and passenger sides? 07 SR5 TRD 4.7 169k

 

I am unsure if this thread has been seen? I was hoping to get a knowledgeable person to answer. Thanks.

 

Not having your VIN to go off of but looking it up without filters it appears they are the same. If I'm reading correctly it looks like 25710-50030 was used for both banks (which supersedes to 25710-50032) but then bank 2, valve No. 2 became 25710-50040 (which supersedes to 25710-50042) that was used for valve No. 2 from 05/2007 to 04/2009. So it depends on your production date.

 

Get the Hewitt bypass.

 

2nd the bypass then you don't have to worry about them failing again

 

I installed the Slyfoxx bypass, no problems since then.

 

$450 Hewitt bypass Gen II and be done with it. I recently did it and it's easy peasy. I made a youtube video for the '07 4.7 because there were no good ones before.
