MAF based cars don’t play nice with VTA blow off valves. You need a recirculating type.

I added some more red accents to SB. I already had the AJT knobs, start button ring, and a shift knob cover. The shift knob may still get replaced by a TRD Pro shifter. Today I added the console strip, door strip, and the vent strips. Don't mind all those bugs....

final mod came in Meso light! Now I’m done. Did everything I wanted on my mod list and haven’t even hit 750 miles on the truck. Need to park the gx and drive this thing more haha. Average like 200 miles a month lol

PT413-35120-02 is the part number for the red version. Ask me how I know lol. smh. I may end up using the red one that was shipped to me vs sending it back to Anderson Toyota for the black one that I ordered.

I did reach out and sadly they were no help. I ended up just disconnecting it. I’ll plug it in for longer rides with passengers. Totally frustrated.

The matching trim pieces arrived today, it was a 5 minute install. Looks much better, and my OCD is much happier now.

Do you know if the dimensions for the emblem are the same for the TRD grill embossed letters on the 3rd gens?

It is narrower than the grill recess for TRD.

Okay, do the letters look to be about the same size though or are they also slightly different?

If your thought in putting the emblem over the recess for TRD in the grill, that's not going to work, it will look terrible as the emblem won't hide parts of the TRD recess.

Haha, I actually want to get the red emblems and then put a black vinyl overlay on them to kinda match the Toyota heritage dash trim piece but I can't seem to find one that is cut to the same size. Thank you for checking for me though.

Edit: the emblems would go on the door panels where the Tundras ones are currently.

tufskinz has something like what you describe. I did not use those for the TRD in the grill, I used red. I did use them for the Tundra in the valence.20250729_190034.jpg

Cat back TRD exh, Heritage grille, fog lights, 35x12.5x20” Nitto, low profile toolbox
Found a good deal on a scratched 20” TRD rim I wanted to use for a spare. Had 2 decent BFG KO2 in 305/55R20, & used 1 of them for this project. It’s about a 33.5” tire, maybe 1/2” to 3/4” taller than OE spare size. It went in pretty easy into the spare tire well. I have more than 2 finger clearance between the receiver hitch & tire, & same 2 fingers between tire & Panhard Bar. The tire also snug fit in front of the 2 factory spare tire guides in front of the Panhard. With the spare on the ground, when I chain lifted the spare up, the rear of the truck came down an inch before lifting the weight of the tire/rim. The new spare tire/rim combo was at least 50% heavier than the OE spare. As mentioned in other posts, the spare by no means is centered between the frame rails - very offset to passenger side.
