Doesn't matter to us, we plan on spending time in both areas. Seeing friends in Tampa and going to Universal in Orlando. Plus shenanigans all over central FL.

Universal is pretty fun and away from the whole Disney kid zone.

Had Freddy’s yesterday actually for the first time. That’s a pretty good smash burger (for fast food) and the shoestring fries are delicious. Their various fry sauces are weak but I am not a big fan of fry sauces anyway.

Still like the fries at 5G better plus there’s better burger customization.

 

One hour time difference. Cute…

 

Our HOA just fired their management company because they sucked.
Hopefully the new one is better..

People get on me for complaining about stuff around here but not being an HOA volunteer.
I've been paying dues for 19 years, I shouldn't have to do anything.

Funny is that I do things around here:
Pick up trash, I mowed the playground a few times when the landscaping people weren't doing it, and I've weed-eated and treated the weeds at the pool.
The only thing is that I don't tell anyone that I did it.

Besides that, I'm the last one they would want on any committee.
I have no tolerance for PC bullshit and would tell them like it is.
Starting with forbidding Section 8 homes here..

Seriously though, if it wasn’t for my daughter, we’d consider moving. But, she has a whole posse of friends and support here. And we need to live close to nice medical facilities.

 

Can't speak for Orlando, but I fly in and out of Tampa when I go to Bucs games.

Obviously a lot of what you're asking depends on what airline and time of day you're flying, but it's one of the smoother airports I've been to. The most time I've spent in a security line has been maybe 5 minutes. We always Uber to and from there, but its always a quick in and out.

Maybe it's just displaying window 'images/movies' that make it appear to be entering outerspace, but in reality it's flying around at 30k feet

 

I thought it was going down, not up. The google confirmed that it was a SpaceX launch. The picture was taken facing south. I figure it was atmospheric refraction, the earth's curvature or some such physics shit. It was still pretty cool.

Just chatted with my wife about your general plans. She said use Orlando airport because Tampa will add an excessive amount of extra drive time to your itinerary. Outside of visiting your friends in Tampa of course.
