    Hello everybody,

Found a local deal on a Leer XR shell but it comes with the normal sliding windows. Does anyone know if it is possible to swap the windows out for the sliding Windoors? Im guessing it is possible but rather ask the experts before I try and go down this road.

I've got a LeerXR with Windoors and would rather have the sliding glass so the dogs can get air while in the bed. Its a fairly simple swap, but an expensive one if you're buying new window replacements. I was quoted about $350 per window.

Let me know if you're ever up around Michigan, Ohio area and i'll gladly trade you. LOL

The problem is the sliding windows and windoors are not the same shape. The sliding windows are larger and the radius at the corners are different.

from what i think I've learned vs what I assumed; pretty much all windows are the same as long as they are the same size cap. assuming all cap companies source the windows from a 3rd party vendor. I was wrong, I tried looking at buying a cheap used cap to swap the windows out. after looking at about 5 of the same size caps, all the windows were different.
I don't believe the Windoors in my cap are different size than the sliders that would be put in the same cap, The Windoors definitely have smaller glass because they have to frame the glass inside the window frame. You'd definitely have to swap the entire window assembly, frame and all. FWIW
