Long story but trying to include all information that may help. It started with my ac blower motor bogging down on my way home from work one day. Next my battery light came on and off several times and the voltage spiked to roughly 17V. Everything went back to normal and everything tested SAT. Few days later on my way to work, my dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree, headlights went out and would not turn back on. Then the battery light came on again and stayed on. Knew it was the alternator for sure this time and spent the rest of the day replacing it. Once I cranked it up to test everything with my meter it all appeared to be working as expected. That is until I turned on my low beams…nothing. High beams and turn signals work fine. Replaced the two low beam fuses, the relay, and even put in two new bulbs…nothing. Voltmeter says there’s power to the relays but when checking the fuses, there’s no power. Pulled apart the fuse box to trace the wires and couldn’t find any burnt, loose or corroded wires. I’m a machinist by trade so I’m familiar with how to fix things, however not nearly as much on the electrical side. I would imagine something like this would show a pretty obvious issue but I’m at a loss and tired of driving to work with my brights. Any help would be appreciated.
