This is why I hate grape flavor anything. It all tastes like Dimetapp to me.

The grape flavoring is burned into my memory so hard from being super sick and getting dimetapp for days on end.


I can't break the link between that flavor and misery.

Though I struggle to resist the chemical cocktail of sodas and energy drinks, I do at least have myself fooled into thinking that avoiding sugar versions of them makes it a slightly less unhealthy decision.

80k miles.
Transmission/Rear Diff/Coolant

Diff fluid looked new, no metal on magnet. 50k miles on it.

Coolant tasted great, original from factory.

Transmission fluid didn't look bad at all, 30k miles since last 4qt drain & fill. I'll probably do another d&f next weekend.

Rear brakes, brake fluid, oil, filter, coolant, clean maf

 

That reminds me.
I should clean my MAF and throttle body butterfly soon.

Yeah me too. I had been getting Sugar In The Raw and using it in my coffee.

But I kind of slacked off of that and have been using fake sugar. I’m not sure which fake sugars are really bad, or if some of them are OK.

Plus it’s hard to get on the same page with my wife, who does a lot of the grocery shopping. When I ask her to get fancy sugar, I get the eye roll.

Those were the good years when you could get a really complete truck or sequoia from the factory.

I think I might be in a strange mood today. I might be having an existential truck crisis, but I probably just need to chill out.

 

If I could get a brand new 2018-2021 Tundra I'd be signing up to do it tomorrow.

If wishes were fishes, and all that. Since I can't, I'll just enjoy the 3rd gen as much as I can.

I had a ‘13 Sequoia. What a tank, and it fit in the garage. We would use every seat belt in it. My wife had so much fun hauling teens around in that beast.
