She needs a little work Tailgate is rusty, as are the rockers. PO installed a leveling kit with 2 inches of lift. It has a aftermarket radio, that I dislike very much. I believe there is a trim Piece that fits over the radiator that's missing. I need to find a set of running boards the mount to the frame.20250718_084137.jpg 20250718_084200.jpg 20250718_084243.jpg 20250718_084357.jpg 20250718_084357.jpg

Looks nice! With the tailgate rust (and Illinois plates) my main concern would be the frame, but I'm sure you probably checked that out. Tailgates can usually be found for reasonable prices all over FB Marketplace, at least here in Houston. PO put on some nice upgraded headlights for you too, seems like it was owned by someone who appreciated and took care of their stuff.

I got an '08 two years ago and put on some aftermarket running boards, which have been super solid and I'm completely happy with. There are a lot of parts where I stick to OEM, but non-essential upgrades like that aren't one of them. I just go with something well made, that I like.

What kind of radio did they put in it? I also went aftermarket with my radio, but went with a respectable brand and mostly did the upgrade for the sake of wireless phone connection and adding a backup camera. It's a Pioneer unit that blends in pretty well to the dash, with a smallish but perfectly adequate screen. Some of the cheapo Android units look ridiculous IMHO. These trucks weren't designed around a giant screen, so when people add them they tend to just look weird and out of place. And let's face it...with the interior of these trucks, anything too modern looks out of place, lol!

It's an Android radio. I do not have a manual for it. So I have no idea how it works. I want a factory radio with a CD player.
