Kinda nice though. I choose where to fill up. Sometimes I can save .40-.50 cents a gallon just by driving a bit further. Saving 25-27.00 per fill up adds up quickly.

It's pretty tight up in there and takes up every square inch.

I used a transmission jack and two ratchet straps. Went right up.

I'm pretty sure that running the factory size tire would not be a good idea. The belly would drag. When I go to the mountains to go shooting I have to be careful of tire placement.

Been actually considering going a bit larger...

Yeah, I don't like it. If I was to do it again today, a smaller L shaped one that goes into the bed would be the ticket.

    Next truck.

Put me in the bidding war at $3,100 and a box of your favorite candy. @snivilous - deal accepted, but only if you beat u-ship by 50% for pick-up cost.

I had the 46 gal Transfer Flow on my old tundra…even that one poked out below the frame rails.

It was nice not having to stop at every gas station, but don’t know that I’d do it on my current Tindra

If it were me I would lift the bed off (cherry picker or 2 post lift if you have one), do the pump replace, then use the opportunity to fluid film the hell out of the back frame and underside of the bed. I've never had to do it on my tundra, but the last 3 fords I had all got it done.

Where you located? Find a Toyota shop or even a general mechanic by you that you can trust and they’ll probably do it for half that

I wouldn't even begin to complain about only spending $2100 on my truck after getting 140k miles out of it. Things break. It happens. And a fuel pump is pretty minor.
