I bought this beauty in 2023, some of you may remember me. Spent a truckload of $ sorting it out. Then sold it due to a move to a different city. I'm relocating to my original city and reached out to the buyer who agreed to sell it back to me. I'm very excited.

The guy you sold it to isn't very bright, unless he's charging you double! Good looking truck and welcome back!

The truck needed mechanical work to remove CEL (transmission wiring harness) new brake lines for the front and frame rust repairs. Thousands of dollars but I know the truck well, the maintenance it has had and I knew how much money both him and I had put into it. Instead of starting from zero with another truck, at least with this one I know its whole history. Additionally, the guy I sold it was not using it much and did not want to tackle all these repairs.

Always cool to see people get reunited with their vehicles. I'd never let my Tundy go unless finances were ultra terrible, and if I did, I'd be buying it right back when I can.

    Very pretty truck OP!

    4wd?

We could not afford to let our Tundra go......not while we are mowing yards. I guess if it came down to it, I'd have to sell the other vehicles and keep the Tundra. I was thinking just that the other day.

Yes, 4WD. People used to own cars for 20, 30 years before. Sometimes a lifetime. I remember people in the block where I grew up where they fixed their own Chevrolets (before they were Chevys) and kids took pride in washing their parents' car. I intend to keep that Tundra around for a long as I can. Very versatile vehicle and perfect for long trips.

If/when there comes a time when my 2000 4wd Tundra is sold it will be for a reason which would not include reacquiring.... new vehicle, too old to drive or dead.
