Our 2025 SR5 4x4 has had the front brakes squealing since we got it home in May 2025. Not happy, but sure appreciate Toyota stepping up with a fix. Went in last week to get the Toyota 5K complimentary service done @ 3500 miles. I paid to change the oil early, since it’s only done every 10k on the service schedule. Asked about the squeal and they explained TSB 0043-24 was available and would correct. Fort Bend Toyota in Richmond, TX ordered the parts & called yesterday to set up the install. Had it done today. Replaced both front rotors, brake pads & shims. Service advisor said the parts availability is getting a lot better, but stated when there is a TSB there is usually a run on the required parts for a while, as the supplier has to ramp up both for repairing the vehicles already sold, as well as future Tundras to be produced. Glad Toyota does these TSB and makes corrections. Had issues with a F-150 a few years ago, and they just keep building them the same way for several years, and they kept repairing my truck with the inferior parts under warranty. Took 2 years and 4 warranty repairs before they got countermeasure replacement parts. Looks like some of you struggled with parts availability for a long time, but I was letting folks know in my case the parts came in a reasonable time frame.
