Towing mirror spot light wiring

Attempting to wire the spot light in the mirrors to caro light switch. Need help in locating hot wire on block.

For the cargo light tap;
You can tap into the purple wire right off the cargo light switch.
Or locate the wire that connects the relay to the cargo light.
It runs through the driver side kickplate and door thresholds.







I'm not sure what the 'spot light' is that you speak of.
But if you want the light to come on with the dome lights , like a puddle light, I would tap into the little driver's footwell light circuit.
It would then dim on and off with the interior dome lights.
I used that for my custom puddle lights..

The spot lights on these mirrors. They can be wired into backup lights or into the door light switch. the manufacturer does not tell the exact location to tie the positive wire to for operation as spots.
