I am planning to change out my urethane steering wheel with OEM leather. I know a lot of members are swapping with used Tacoma and 4Runner steering wheels but I would like to go with brand new so figure just go for Tundra OEM. I think the part number is 45100-0C420-C0, is it correct? Also, is the Tundra wheel full leather without any perforated holes like the Tacoma and 4Runner? If anyone has photos of their Tundra OEM wheel that would be great too. Are there different Tundra OEM part numbers for Limited and Platinum trims? Will either work for my 21 SR5? Ty!

I love mine. Ordered off of Amazon. Full leather but has the perforations you didn't want. I love it. And for as those other parts, that's the steering wheel controls and panels and cruise control. 20250710_085331.jpg

I like the aftermarket covers because they increase the cross section diameter which makes it easier to grasp. Much less effort and cost too, just my .02. Good luck OP!

I have a 2021 SR5 with the leather package and leather steering wheel. The part number I have is 45100-0C420-C0. It is not perforated.

OR should I consider stitching a leather cover (I know it’s a PITA)? My logic is even if I swap with an oem leather steering wheel now at some point the leather will degrade and I don’t want to get into the habit of replacing steering wheels (expensive!). Might as well start learning to stitch now, maybe? With the oem leather steering wheel, what is under the leather itself, urethane?

Yep, been there, degraded over the years. I think the stretch over covers have improved quite significantly over the last few decades. Quite tight to stretch over, but nice fit and wear like iron once done. Not those old cheapo perforated lace around pieces of garbage from 1975 anymore.
