They came with trim panels which I prepped and painted with a color matched rattle can I bought at O'Reilly's.

I got the tails as well. I would have preferred clear over the smoke, but for a little over $500 for the set they've been great.

    Definitely recommend.

Thanks! I didn't know you could get color matched spray paint. I will go that route as well.

Yeah thats my video. All you need is the 2010+ brackets, if you google or search the forum, you’ll find a ton of info.

Thanks! I appreciate it. I saw your YouTube videos on your truck a while back. You did a great job. It is surprising you are selling it. I love my RCSB.

Did you spray paint the front grille frame to match your truck or have a body shop do it? I just ordered a primed grill, primed rear bumper cover and VLand headlights/tail lights that comes with the black plastic trim pieces. I'm debating whether I should have it all painted at a body shop or not.

Can anyone guess what size those wheels are and how much lift? I hope to get my truck to look similar. The name on the wheels is Ultra Motorcports. Are these good wheels, if not can anymore recommend some similar wheels and lift?

    Here's my evolution to help you out(almost all the standard lift heights);

    1.5" Lift 35" tires.
    2.5" Lift 35" tires.
    2.5" Lift stock tire height.
    2"/4" Lowered stock tire height.

    Pick your poison.

Nice! Thanks for the visuals. Which height do you like better? Can you just even the stock suspension. (2" inch leaving kit to lift the front to match the stock rear) and put 18" or 20" wheels and 35" Tires? I'm a noob with trucks, I've done various wheel sizes on cars in the past but never on trucks, so excuse my ignorance. I've come realize I just want the stock height but level the front with the rear.

That video I posed above appears to be 20" rims? Or are they 18" rims? I like that wheel and tire size in the video, I would do a lift to accomdate those wheels if necessary.

For another reference, this is 3/1 lift and 35” tires on 18” wheels

yes, you can fit 35” tires on a 2” level; but the wheel offset will matter for it

curious, what wheel offset are those? Trying to put 35s on mine, have a 2.5” suspension lift and looking at the icon’s hulse 18x9 +25mm offset but not sure if that offset will work

3.25" rear only drop to level the truck.
18" wheels (SR5 alloys and Forged BBS PRO)

I rode on lower profile TOYO tires for a short time...

    IMG_6982.jpg

but I went back with 255-70-18 Michelins to improve the ride.

^18x8.5 et 10. I was on the Eibach coilovers maxed out and believe it was only about 1.5" of lift.

I did do the body mount chop and push in the front plastic a bit and it would still rub in the rear a tiny bit when reversing.

Can anyone confirm if an ARE cap/shell originally built for an Access Cab will fit a Regular Cab with the same bed length? Tag on the camper shell is 2007 Tundra EC SB ZS W/O

@Cruiserpilot has confirmed it does not fit and hits the cab, you will need to purchase a shell designed for a single cab.

Edit: sorry, put wrong member name. Thanks for chiming in.

Sort of true. There is fitting with rubbing. I actually got my Leer to fit, but permanent rub marks. It's 2-3 mm at most from cab
at rest. I think on the other thread he got the ARE to fit better than my Leer. I've decided I'm going to just take a flapper disc
to mine, grind it to fit. Then seal and paint and be happy my box is covered. When I do I'll put pics up.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Does your Leer rub across the entire back of the cab or just at the brake light? That's definitely the area that protrudes the most from the cab by at least an inch or two.

The brake light has nothing to do with any kind of clearance issues. ALL trucks have back up lights and al companies make damned
sure there is no possibility of rubbing because they can't afford to fix that kind of error.
The RC is more vertical along the outer corners of the cab. The DC has more early rounding of outer corners, which is weird cause
they get the fancy slider window and RC can suck it! I'm going to post this and then shortly I'll edit it with pics of highlighted area
where mine rubs with the Leer.

The black Sharpie has actually covered the spot where the Gelcoat has chipped off. The back of the cab pic you can see where it rubs. I’ve got 3 major projects ahead of this but will deal with it before winter.

BTW. When this canopy sits hard against the back of the cab. It seals very well. Especially along the back tailgate which is as important as the front back of cab.

Thanks for taking the time to post those! You da man. I’m going to look at an ARE cap this weekend and I’ll pay special attention to those areas when we test fit it.

From what I’ve seen the ARE fits better. Good luck.
