Over on your rear axle rating. If I can remember correctly it's around 4150 lbs. might want to check your tire rating too.

Good point on the GVWR. Totally forgot about that. Been so long since I even was concerned with that rating (11500 lbs).

Looks like you aren’t using a weight distribution hitch. If you were you could transfer a lot of that tongue weight on your rear axle to the front axle where it’s actually needed and you could shift some of it off the rear axle and onto the trailer axles, which would help keep you closer to your max payload. As stated, you’re overweight on the rear axle and payload. I’d be more worried about the axle rating part of the equation.

You've also lost about 2-300# off of your steer axle. That's no good.

Sorry to pop your cherry OP, but more information on your setup would help. What kind of trailer, published weights. Hitch setup, unloaded truck weights etc.

Putting more weight forward will also transfer weight back to the trailer axle, so you might be good. 300lbs forward is no joke. It must be terrifying on any winding road while towing.

This trailer is well within the truck’s limits. Your setup is not good, though. A properly set WDH will put some weight back on the front axle and back onto the trailer axle. You should have no problem getting under your axle limits. Experiment with how you load your trailer, too.

You are 460# over weight on the Tundra if your GVWR is 7200. You can pull that trailer if you move the weight back to the trailer. A weight distribution hitch is a good start but you will need to look at what's in your truck bed and how your trailer is loaded. Maybe drain the fresh water tank if it's up front and shift some heavy items to the rear of the trailer. Let us know what model trailer you are towing and we may be able to help you decide how to load it.

It's a 16 foot dual axle cargo trailer converted to a camper. There is a lot of weight inside it that I can move around. This setup I had most of the weight forward. The weight is equipment, tools, food, grills, about everything is in totes.
The truck had about 7 bundles of wood, 2 bikes, a 45 quart 12 volt fridge and a 26 quart cooler of ice and beer, and 2 pedal bikes

I have no idea what the trailer weighs empty or loaded but am educated guess from a trailer guy was3,500 lbs

Get the actual weight of the loaded trailer, then arrange the contents so that 12% or so of the weight is over the tongue. Then, get a WDH for the truck and set it up so that the front axle weight does not change when you hook up to the trailer. Weigh it all again, and you should be under you axle and GVWR.

Just so I understand, if I had both axle weights at capacity, I would still be over GVWR? I need to get all 3 of these under the capacity? Will moving some weight out of the bed and into the trailer and sliding weight in the trailer towards the rear of trailer help achieve this?

Yes, that's what helped me. I removed some items I normally carried in truck to camper and moved some items to back of camper. You still need to ensure hitch weight is at least 10% of total trailer weight. A WDH may help you if you're not running one.
