    Last time I was in SF was around 1972 :eek2:. We lived near Sacramento for 3 years because my dad was stationed at an Air Force base near by. All our relatives would come visit and get a tour of San Fran. I still remember much of those visits.

    Twin Peaks has had their issues too. One near where I used to live here in CO, closed without warning. Girls weren't getting paid and suppliers. Embezzlement it seems.

    No. Level is 50% less than normal flow this summer. Water is too warm now for decent fishing. Weak snow pack didn't help. Last year was a lot better. We are finally getting summer monsoons every afternoon. Decent rainfall. Keeps things very green, but won't help with the river flow much. Fishing at this spot will pick up in the fall. I do have a river otter that I have spotted twice. Prolly likes crawdads too. I've found some tiny freshwater clams. Not sure how big they get. May have to dig down and find out!

    Cleaned up the garage today, actually vacuumed and blew the floor out with the yard blower and compressor.
    Bought a cheap Walmart 55" Roku TV to replace the 50" old non-smart TV.
    We sometimes like to sit in the garage and watch TV, mainly college football.
    I like having the TV on while I do my PT in the garage, it has been turning into a workout.
    There is a double window, allowing for ventilation with the fans blowing.
    It's my favorite room in the house, as she has no input to decorating out there.:eek2::cool:

    On the City side of the GG bridge (just to the south and west of it IIRC) is (was) a little place called PQ Dungeness or something that like...

    It was a fun and reasonably priced to eat some seriously incredible crab and their garlic noodles were always top notch!!!!

    Definitely a 'family style' place, where you throw on bibs, they dumps piles on the table and everyone gets messy...

    It was a good stop in SF :thumbsup:

    You haven't been to the the new version! That whole area nearby has new great restaurants. Especially near Stanley Lake. Brew pubs and such. That whole area has changed. Go there during the daytime. You might just be surprised! Older houses in that area have been flipped and going for $$$$$. Gentrification....
