Are you referring to the piece that attaches to the spindle? Or the ball joint being in the control are stuck?

I separate the piece from ball joint to spindle with a pickle fork with great success.

The ball joint in the control arm, remove the snap ring. Then it’s pressed in there super tight. I’ve done it with a ball joint press tool, and it’s a bitch. Now I use my shop press, and it takes a lot to get it to move initially. You could apply heat to the LCA where the ball joint goes in at. You’ll need either Mapp gas or oxy/acetylene. Propane isn’t hot enough.
