Yeah I've mounted mine using a license plate bracket. No issues so far. I'll get a picture when I can.

How do you like the camera while driving at night? I had a cheaper version in my old Dodge and it worked great in the daytime but at Night the headlights behind you would make it really hard to see anything.

I've got the G900 unit. LOVE it.

It's not too bad. Yeah the headlights do create a bit of difficulty when it's real dark but you do have the ability to easily turn the screen off making it like a regular dimmed mirror. Here's a couple of video playbacks that I just uploaded to my YT. Might give you an idea. Not sure how long they'll last though, I got music playback on them. Both are the same exact timeframe, just one of rear and the other is front..

Thanks! This isn’t bad at all! Looks way better than my old digital mirror. I had mine mounted in the cab like yours and I love the way it eliminates blind spots!

This has been working out so far with the license plate bracket.

How clean is the wiring on top of the mirror? Every promo video I watch has wires everywhere. Does it hide well in the gen3 with their bracket and all the plastic up top? Also anyone know if it retains the garage door functions? I'm a little soft for My built in opener lol

Can't really speak on the gen3 setup but mine is pretty clean. Of course you'll have 3 or 4 cables coming out of the mirror depending on which model you get. I have 3 cables and have them going straight into the headliner. I removed my OEM mirror which has the garage door opener buttons(I think it's called homelink:confused:) but I don't use those anyways.

Does anyone know where to get the adapter so you can get power from the chord that powers the oem mirror? Im going to take my original mirror off as well and figure I can use that chord for power.
