I had the Fumoto before this and really liked it. It just didn’t quite work with my current skid setup.

You can just swap the tube from the OEM plastic one. That’s what I had to do

Mine weren’t. They were set exactly where they said they would be in the installation instructions (5/16” and 5/8” thread showing). Preset at 2.75” lift for a 4WD truck yet mine only lifted it 2”.

So you measured 5/16 and 5/8 and you only got 2 inches? I assume you took before and after measurements?

Yes and yes. 24” hub center to fender measurement. Same exact lift amount I had from the TRD Pro Fox coilovers- 2” lift.

I even went so far as to crank up the coilovers to their max height setting and that only netted 2.75” lift, not the 3.25” advertised (again on a 4WD truck).

I called Bilstein and they flat out said their product is hand made and can not have any faults. Between a supercharger and a 65 pound snow plow mount, my front end weighs 100-150 pounds over a totally stock truck. Bilstein dude said that minor weight increase might lower the front end by 1/4” and not 3/4”, and I would agree with that statement. Dude said I had to have installed them incorrectly and their product is not to blame. I do not agree with that statement.

My front bumper is 110 lbs or so and I didn't have any drops. I wrote my measurements from flares to ground on one of the boxes. I will have to look at it again. If I recall I'm at or slightly higher than where I was at with the Toytecs. There's really no way to install them incorrectly that I can think of. You can't put them on the wrong side without really messing something up.

I'll try to do it this weekend while I'm working on a couple of things. How do you like those UCA's? I currently have SPC's but I have a set of the DK's on order. I need to find out what the caster adjustment is at on those compared to the SPC since I currently have rub on the cab mounts. It would be nice if the DK's had maintenance free ball joints like the SPC's though.

The Dirt King UCA are a nice piece of metal. No complaints here. I didn’t want the maintenance or possible squeaking of urethane bushings and these have some fancy synthetic rubber that needs no grease. I also didn’t want to deal with uniball maintenance with our salted road winters. It does has the ball joint, it’s replaceable and greasable from the top under the DK cap. Im fairly certain it’s a common Moog ball joint.

And they are all maintenance free until they die. Even the sealed non greasables don’t last forever. I haven’t greased them yet as I’m too lazy to find out the specific grease type.

And I thought I read somewhere they add +1 degree of caster, but please verify that.

I totally get it. This site made me purchase quite a few things already. It's also got me thinking I need the LC blower motor for improved air flow in the cabin and a transmission cooler lol

I've had a Leer XR with windoors on both my trucks since 2012. I debate getting something new on the Tundra all the time, but having this all season water tight space is awesome. Old man or not, it works.

When my kid was younger, him and his buddies would sit back there and eat pizza before football practice. My guess is it'll evolve into his sleeping space with the dog while we're up top in a RTT.

Not sure. I've had a ton of stuff up there on a Prinsu rack. Leer used to offer a RTT but I don't think anyone bought it.
