First, this is awesome. I'll grab a copy just to have. Second, what are you planning that this was relevant?

 

Nothing really, I just have some engines sitting on stands here and was scanning other stuff for a project and figured may as well scan the 5.7 now.

 

Have you compared output quality to photogrammetry? Nvidia released a toolkit a few years back which uses CUDA to output something resembling a scan.

 

No sir, haven't dabbled much in photogrammetry.
