I’ve done a good deal of googling, but no dice. Has anyone seen a “downgrade” where I can replace the dumb liftgate button with a manual pull handle? Living in a very cold area, these stupid button setups freeze up all the time. I can’t describe how much it bothers me that trucks aren’t sold with a regular manual liftgate anymore - it’s a truck, not a minivan. Rant aside, curious if anyone has seen a solution.

I’m just lucky I don’t have the automatic tailgate on my 2024.

Other than that mini rant about modern trucks, the 2024 SR5 is still doing great. Somewhere between 25 and 30k miles, lots of towing, good amount of 4WD on dirt and mud, still the best truck I’ve had in awhile. My complaint aside, it’s been such an easier ownership experience vs the Silverado
