I will be heading up to Challis, Idaho for a little trip. Been there several times, but never explored the surrounding areas. I would enjoy Bonners Ferry, have seen plenty of pictures from a friend that lived up there. Any recommendations from the locals?

After that I was thinking about Canada, haven't been in years, but the whole rifle and pistol laws would surely get myself in cuffs. Is there some place at the boarder that I could secure weapons and have no problems crossing into Canada, enjoy the beauty and come back?

Montana is slated after that, probably set up in Glacier Park. Haven't been up there since 2011. Hopefully we done get the same grizzly bear experience with dogs this time. Got kinda sporty for a minute or two. Damn dogs will chase anything, and a momma bear with two young cubs is not optimal for a long and healthy life.

After Montana is North/South Dakota and back down to Marijuana Paradise.

Hells canyon or river of no return rafting trip is a great time imo. If you want to camp, this is one of the best places, between the two deepest canyons in North America! https://www.outdoorproject.com/adventures/idaho/camping/seven-devils-campground
If you can, the pack river, 15 miles south of Bonners Ferry, offers great hiking that's right of the highway. 946cdecaf417ccc30b407f8a1836f46b_3e56619b5c23f2f6eaed902b8c0767e07dd25f26.jpg1c18cdbc777bb9a82712c65fbe715c4e_a60458980db4d631cf7f14b61a6490dc8418c100.jpg.
The St. Joe river, near Saint Maries is a very nice place. The further you go in, you will encounter fewer visitors. If you do go here, A drive over moon pass is a must. It runs from Avery to Wallace. If you like that, you'll certainly like this:

Hope this helps you some. Have a great trip!

Mini bikes!!! You surely have the room. There's lots to do here for a guy from CO. Pulling a trailer-you'll at least have a place to relax at your leisure.

    Great idea.

Maybe I should bring some socks. I just noticed you were airing out the feet in the snowy landscape picture. Good stuff!!

Any good glampgrounds you can recommend in the Challis area?

Ha ha, socks! Yes, just make sure their dried out. Mine seem to get wet no matter what.

Sorry bud, I have no recommendation for that area. I'm in Northern Idaho. Let's hope someone down there will chime in. I was a little reluctant to post anything at first, but then thought 'hey, it's our land, let's feel free to move around'.

I know a lot of people looking at Idaho, like minded people.

Know any Mann's up there? How about Micheline R in Bonner Ferry?
