Hi all Tundras, Steppes and Deserts lovers...

Yes we are in summer but before you know it, it is going to be winter again. Any DIY product you recommend for treating the frames of our beloved vehicle? Or is it better to have it professionally done? Any tips are most welcome. Thanx a lot!

Wool Wax, Amsoil Heavy Duty Metal Protectant or Fluid Film will do the trick.

I've been using Amsoil every year since 2018 and we have some bad snowy/salty winters in NY.

Great! And no sign of rust? I assume you apply the stuff on the parts and pieces that need to be treated but other ones not. Thanks a lot Jim.

I crawl under my rigs and use rust converter spray paint on anything rusty looking every summer and they look great. Use a wire brush on anything that looks flaky beforehand. No salt on the roads here however, lots of moisture though.
