Unfortunately, in todays world, these kids doing the wide wheels and squatted truck thing, i have seen (2) sets of 2" spacers stacked together on a truck not long ago. Walked by and it appeared to have maybe 33x12.5s on a 22x14" wheel maybe?? But the biggest thing to jump out was almost the ENTIRE tire was outside the fender well. I glanced thru the wheel and it was (2) sets of spacers stacked. I gasped and kept walking into the store. Its crazy what these kids are doing these days. Their dads should beat their asses for being such punks.

In that case, Dad is a double-dipshit. Once for paying for it, and twice for allowing Junior to run garbage that will risk his and others lives on the road.

I think the dads of today, are not quite the same as dads of yesteryear.
Prime example is go to a travel baseball game, any one of the tournaments that likely are in your area.
EVERY boy looks the same. Dumb ass mullet hair cut, all talk in bro slang, lookin for that rizz. I had to look that one up when i first heard it. I have a 15yo daughter and all the boys at her school are borderline xxxx, act like xxxxxxx, and want squatted trucks. What a bunch of losers.

    rizz
A word for having an elite amount of game, specifically for getting with girls.

I mean, to be fair, my generation (X) had its own slang too. Radical. Gnarly. Grommet. Sketch. Poseur. Tubular. Bounce. Jet. Other vernacular added from movies, like "Weezin'" (Pauly Shore) and "Snoochie Boochies" (Jay & Bob). Stupid ass phrases like "grody to the max", "gag me with a spoon", etc.

It's really easy to poke fun at each generation, almost as easy as it is to forget the generation which you belong did the same stupid shit, had their own slang/vernacular, and were just as annoying as fuck. I say this as a mid-century dad with two teens who has to deal with all these incel self-proclaimed "alpha" males, many of whom who worship trash humans like Andrew Tate, treat my girl all the other young women at school like disposable trash and, over here at least, they all have the same douchy surfer-jock-esque cut that looks kinda like this but shorter.

Wow. A lot of great feed back. I bought the rims and tires for $400(a lot of tread left). I’m into the spacer $200 but, apparently will need to spend another $150 or so. The truck is a pavement princess as one of you called it. I put maybe 150 miles a month on it.

not sure if I’ll go with a quality 2” spacer for now. Then upgrade wheels and tires when the tires need to be replaced.

Does it make sense to sell them now and invest in a set that’s better suited for your truck?

I read somewhere recently that a guy got similar new takeoffs machined from 95 to 106 for about $50 per wheel. That might be a safer option than spacers

Would still have to overcome the positive offset (his main issue) along with swapping all of the wheel studs for the appropriate ones.

Did you end up with adapter spacers that change hub bore AND lug stud size?

The TRD OR wheels on the new ones might be worth the trouble as I like the design. But they are 20”, so a no go as well.
