Smart Key / Lock Handles

Stupid question:

I am trying to swap out my black exterior door handles with paint matched handles. I currently have the smart key / lock system - so when you have the FOB, you can lock, unlock the vehicle just from touching the handle on front door.

After watching videos and such of replacement door handles, I don't see anything in the handle itself that would indicate that feature is inside the handle, but maybe in the door?

Just trying to figure out if this feature is handle dependent...as I cant find this as an option for the Doorman paint to match handles, and I would really like to keep this feature.
