Is it the standard kit? Or premium?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the standard kit?

 

Standard is the same amount of leather as stock limited. Premium is more leather content than a limited. I think 1794 and platinum have the premium amount. Even the 1794 and platinum have vinyl on the sides and back.



I had a limited before. The parts that are leather content on the stock limited, is thinner leather than katzkins leather.

All the katzkin sets on ebay are the standard kit. If you want the premium you'd have to order it from katzkin or jhuey. And after the premium they have a full leather content kit where the sides and back are full leather. It costs more.

The standard kit is also referred to as DELUXE.

Premium is more leather content for back seats.

Full leather content is full leather content

 

I had OEM Limited leather put in my SR5 when I bought it in 2014.
The piping on the OEM leather started falling apart.

My Katzkins are MUCH better quality than those were.
I also have the same color and I've been delighted with the Katzskins.
They are holding up very well.

can you add heated seats, yes.

Am i offering heated seat elements with the sale, no.
If your truck has heated seats already, you can use your own heated seat elements

And if you have a platinum like your handle says. You need a crew max set.

And I actually sold the CM recently so need to update that...just found it was too much cab and too little bed for me. I am looking at a DC this weekend and planning to pull the trigger if all goes accordingly, so am starting to line up the first upgrades for it.

Firstly, the heated seat elements can be bought on Amazon. Many different sellers.

The heater elements are laid on the foam before installing the leather. I had a shop just install my elements and leave the wires out for me to wire up later on my own. They wanted $300 more to wire. I was just cheap and willing to do it myself.

DC are 300-500 lighter than crew max. Every 100 lbs saved is like 10hp worth of performance. Many DC feel 30-50 hp up compared to crew max. And they feel more nimble with the less weight.
