I sold my 06 Cummins to buy my new 25 3rd gen. It had 125k on it, I got 40k cash in less then 24 hours listing it, guess I should have asked more.

I always drive Toyotas but buy used, low mile Cummins when I find em and flip em. Have made enough to pay for all my new trucks I ever bought doing it. Pre emissions diesel are stupid right now.

It does ring a bell but would need to research to ensure that bell is the correct one.

HDs diesels are their own economic ecosystem.

There is always high demand for clean ones and limited supply.

I call BS on this, when the 22 Tundra launched, they were all selling for MSRP. So your wooden nickel theory doesn't hold water.

Did you miss the year 2023 mentioned multiple times in the thing you quoted? He isn't talking about launch, he's talking about after reality kicked in and Toyota didn't have a fix. There are still examples out there of 2.5 gens priced higher than a 3rd gen used. They might not always be apples to apples trim wise, but its is something that is real.

Yeah, I call BS on this yet again. No where are 2 whatever Gens selling for more than 3rd gens unless you are comparing SR model 3rd gens to mid top tier 2 whatever gens. I am happy with my truck but to the disappointment of the troll posters who run around bashing the 3rd gens all day. I tell you what I find funny, not 1 time have I posted in a 2nd gen forum or gone there to troll idiots to make them feel good about a dinosaur v8 Tundra.

No one who actually drives a 3rd gen believes in your BS and none pays it much attention. They still sell more 3rd gen Tundra per year than they ever did of the previous generation. Toyota has a hit, and they know it. Sorry you are just jealous and upset that you can't get one or won't get. No one cares otherwise.

Highest selling single year ever was the older gen truck in 2007 IIRC.

ok, carry on boys, just adding a clarification :anonymous:

There’s always 2nd genners in 3rd gen forums that always try to do this. Unfortunately these types of people will never be happy.

Not to mention, this current gen tundra is one of the safest pickup trucks according to IIHS which is huge for families God forbid if anything happens. The previous gen tundra did pretty poorly for crash test ratings.

Your behavior is why people dislike the 3rd gen owners. You seethe with derision and arrogance. You dismiss any criticism of the 3rd gen as jealousy or as coming from "the poors" who can't afford one.

    You behave like a douchebag.

Sincerely, a former 2.5 gen and current 3rd gen owner.

Thank you for sharing. I needed a good laugh this am.

BTW this is a Tundra forum, and comparably equipped 19-21’s in the upper trims are definitely getting more than 3rd gens.

Hey, cool story bro--- now run along back to your little 2nd gen playground. Have a Coke, a Smile, and a Good Day.

because no one here gives a chit if the 2nd gen is selling for more than a 3rd gen. NO ONE

Now the trolls are posting ads for trucks, lol.

Geez, talk about insecurity. I have a 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited Hybrid with TRD OR- it has a bed cover, 35 inch wheels and some additional add ons. I owe less than 20k on it- and it has 28 thousand miles. I am not going to trade it in a 2nd gen but thanks for posting useless information. Also, I would be willing to bet the trucks you linked are recall trucks. Otherwise compare a limited hybrid with comparable miles to a limited 2.5 gen and see what you get.

How about don’t feed the trolls.

It’s clear what their posts are about. The ‘special’ people may not go away, but they won’t have anything to post about.

Ill include an extra bearing and you provide cam tower sealer and some gas.
