Rushing to get things together for 5 nights of camping at 2 different spots 5 hours apart from each other.
    Did Eibach shocks yesterday.
Packing tonight with cooking and everything else. Went to change the oil and let just under 3qts of tranny drain.
Temp was approx 136-142. When I go to fill tomorrow what’s my safest route? I don’t have a pump at the house will have to wait til stores open.
do I just fill 3 qts and see if it trickles out of the check drain?
Trickle then run through the gears?
Will be on road a lot without service this week

Safest bet is to just add exactly the amount that was removed. If you want to check the level afterwards ensure the vehicle is level and pull the check plug at 115-133°F (AB60 Transmission) or 97-115°F (A750 Transmission). You can reinstall the check plug once the fluid being drained is no longer a steady stream.

I’ll be adding at cold temp, it was drained at 130s-140s. Still just add what was removed at cold in the am check via valve at temp?
