Any way to restore clarity to this convex mini mirror?

As you can see in the picture, the mini mirror that helps so much (when merging left) has started to fade pretty bad over the past years. Besides replacing it I was wondering if anyone had any tips on restoring it? Thanks

I would just buy a new one. Do they still make them in that shape?

Here are some methods to restore mirror glass:
    • Rub the mirror with toothpaste. The abrasive ingredients in toothpaste can occasionally polish out scratches.
    • Use traditional toothpaste instead of a gel.
    • Apply a jewelry-polishing compound (cerium oxide). This ingredient is sometimes effective in restoring a mirror’s shine.
    • Make a mixture of water and baking soda and apply the paste to the affected areas of the mirror or glass. Leave it there for about half an hour and then wipe it clean using a wet towel and rinse thoroughly.
    • Use a standard windshield repair kit from your local auto supply store.
    • Clean the glass with a soft cloth and an acidic cleanser. Refrain from touching the glass with your bare hands. Apply your chemical mixture provided in the kit.

You could try meguires scratch x if its a plastic surface (most likely is).

Well I do know the individual ones you can buy in Walmart are TERRIBLE, and do nothing but take up space. (I put one on my other mirror and you can’t see diddly squat from it)

This one in the picture is factory & fantastic!

I like to use the 3" round. After you adapt to them, they become your primary mirrors.
