Hi all- my current truck is a 2wd 04’ single cab long bed with 130k (great work truck)
Looking to upgrade to a 2.5 gen with 4wd. Found this nice 2015 and would appreciate feedback-
What makes this a rock warrior or is it just decaled? Is this lifted? Is it a good buy.? How well would it tow a small landscape trailer occasionally? Etc..

Truck is a long ways from me but is low mileage and in good condition and I really like the look..

The Rock Warrior was a 2nd Gen trim offering from 07 to 13. There is no 15 Rock Warrior.

    Many on the way.
That is an SR package truck, the only thing lower on spec list is the work truck package. The big lift and tires look nice. It will tow your landscape trailer easily. Probably quite overpriced, but low mileage clean examples are not exactly easy to come by.

That seat is beat as hell for 32k miles. Then you have it being a fake RW. I was thinking it was a real nice find until I looked closer. This is giving me "man I regret buying this piece of shit" vibes. The previous owner looks to have done everything as cheap as possible while trying to make it look cool.

To say it simply. The Rock Warrior was a generation 2 Tundra. That truck is a generation 2.5 Tundra. He bought the decals and slapped them on the bed.

As others have said, it's an SR not a Rock Warrior model... but also to note the dealer has it listed as an SR (so they are not trying to sell it as someting it isn't) With that being said, single cab long beds are hard to find (especially w/such low mileage)!!!

If you like the look of the truck and would plan on driving it as is for a while (IE>>> not wanting to change wheels, tires, lift, etc.) then I'd say do your due deligence in terms of inspections, checking to see what kind of lift was done, etc. and if everything is on the up and up, start negotiating...

Price, given the current market, may be a little high but it's not crazy.... there's probably a few thousand you could shave off it it...

I'd ask for maintenance records for the time period for the second owner, obviously check for rust and the other normal things.

One thing to also keep in mind is that it has the smaller tank 26 gal instead of 38, so if you are going to tow a lot, it can be tedious filling up frequently if you're running longer distances.

Here's another Iowa vehicle for contrast... totally different Tundra (crewmax, Limited, on 20s, non-lifted, more options and more mileage) for the same price point!!!!

    None at this point.
Maybe it's just me but I hate the look of a long bed with the single cab!!!
    It just doesnt look proportional.
I get it if you're looking for a work truck and need the full length bed but other than that.......
Although if you're into this sort of thing it would probably look pretty Sick Slammed!!

That's a nice truck. Definitely rare and a looker. Since you have another Tundra, I would buy it. Just make sure to do a research on it, carfax. Look underneath for damages, new paint, rust, mud in the frames, aftermarket parts, etc. Drive it. Insist on testing 4 HI, 4 Low to make sure it switches smoothly between the settings. Just need to find a dirt area or non-paved ground. That is definitely a nice truck, rare configuration and worth keeping for a long time. I used to have a 2007 4x2 RCSB with Sports Appearance Package. 5.7 of course. Got into an accident on its 10th year and was declared totaled by the insurance because the airbags deployed. But very fixable. At that time I needed a vehicle so bad, so I had to surrender it and got the money. I bought a 2010 Crewmax 4x4. Go for it!!

You've really got to like the double cab steps on it.

Same. The running boards are too long too.

While I agree they are not designed for that truck, they at least have a functionality to them allowing easier access to the back of the bed near the bulkhead...
