I am swapping out some overhead lighting in my house and I see some LED flat panels calling out 0-10v dimmers to be installed. I am accustomed to wiring with a black, white, and ground. The 0-10v dimmers have other colored wiring to utilize. Are those additional wires just for connection from the switch to the light, or is there low voltage wiring that gets installed from the breaker to the switch, then from the switch to the light?

Just from the switch to the light.

The dimmer/controller converts ac to dc and sends a control signal to the driver in the fixture.
