Power wire management

Looking for a little help to hide my offroam wireless charger wire. I pulled the tray out but didn’t feel any void where I could run the wire through.

Hi There! Interested in what you did there to make that look so tidy...does the cable tuck up underneath the tray?

 

Sorry for the late reply. Yes the power wire from the phone mount goes behind the vent. I opened that access panel removed the 4 radio bolts and pulled it out enough to get the power wire back there the pushed the radio back in and secured it. I drilled a hole in that tray and the rubber mat to then feed the power wire through and plug it in.

 

Curious, is that 12v outlet always on?

 

No sir when the truck is off the 12v is off
