Noticed this during oill change yoday. How do i get this back in the correct position??? Also think this may be why I have a cv that's is failing . Pics included for both. The cv is supposed to be closer to the diff case.

What I am referring to is the where the diff drop is installed. There is a huge gap on the right side and a smaller one on the left.

    Anyone got suggestions?
    My thinking is:
Lift and get it off the ground and then make the adjustments and get back into place?? I jave a shop to do this in just want to know the direction to begin with.

    Thanks everyone

I'm sorry, I don't see what it is that you need to adjust. Someone with sharper eyes/thinking I'm sure can help you but I didn't see anything wrong.
