Hi guys, very confused here and trailgrid pro is currently closed until Monday. I have the anytime front and rear camera setup and just finished running the wires and putting the camera where I want it. However, the image is inverted. Not a problem….install instructions say to cut the purple loop to flip the image. Unfortunately, when I cut the loop, the screen goes to black.

I stripped the purple wires and twisted the loop back together and the camera worked fine again. Any ideas? Everything else is working as it should. Would love to have my truck back for the weekend lol.

    Thanks!

    Too many, but not enough....
Could be they connected the wrong color wire. You could disconnect other colors and see if that inverts it.

The other ones are disconnected (white mirrors it side to side and green takes out the grid lines). There is another blue loop but none of the instructions mention a blue loop so I figured I shouldn’t snip it.

Sounds like something wasn't connected properly on the circuit board in the camera... Sounds like you aren't doing anything wrong, so I'd probably order up another camera, swap them out and return the defective one.

I'd wait until Monday and call them first.

Did you buy the prewired kit or the one you have to solder/assemble yourself? I actually just installed mines today and it was the prewired one. I also cut the purple (vertical flip) and white wires (horizontal flip).

If you bought the prewired kit then they must've screwed up when they were assembling it, otherwise i'd think there was a misstep while you were assembling it
