There are lots of options, what would go best with Fox 2.5 w/res?

Lower maintenance the better, less chance of failure the better. I’m ok spending $ to get something quality.

If I remember right, I believe that you're a 2nd gen Tundra... In that case, our current set it and forget it darlings are the Dirt King tubulars. They have been rock solid for us so far. The only thing about them that might be a hangup is that the next run isn't set to ship until the end of this month.

I've had Fabtech uppers ever since I slapped my lift on soon after I bought the truck. Zero issues and they look great. I have the Fox 2.5 Factory Race series.

@memario1214 how would you compare the ball joints of the dirt king (or any other aftermarket) UCA with OEMs?
CCN raves on Toyota OEM and that their rubber is higher quality and thus the OEM UCAs will outlast any aftermarket ones.

Not trying to steal the response, but it's purpose dependant...OEM is ALWAYS better than aftermarket...higher standards of materials are used to ensure maximum reliability and safety...BUT, that's for an OEM setup...if you're lifting the truck or lowering the car, research...DK are great and have learned from other outfits on what works and how long...Icon has a version of the same thing, Cognito also does, JBA has some and sometimes folks use SPC...read the fine print is what I highly suggest. What are the maintenance intervals on the aftermarket setups...they may look cool but than you have to rebuild them every 15k miles...that's easy and a no brainer if you're using the tuck for jumping dunes every other day...but 99% of us all want the cool factor and the reliability of OEM...if you go above 2.5" in a lift, expect to need an aftermarket UCA to get your alignment specifications in line to OEM standards...aftermarket might sometimes be less expensive, but they'll have a higher rebuild rate over their lifespan than OEM...blah blah blah

Makes sense and stoked to hear OEM is better. Makes me feel good since I already ordered OEM UACs as the originals lasted this long (138k) lol..

but with that said, does that apply to say the TRD Pro Fox shocks/strut combo? They’re branded as OEM but manufactured by Fox. The only reason I’m going with the 6112/5160 is because they’re less than half the price I could find those Fox TRD pros..

The TRD stock, whether Bilstein or Fox, will fit and are vetted by Toyota Corp as "good enough for factory use." I wouldn't be hesitant on either and yes, the Fox stuff or even the TRD stuff have a higher demand and the higher coolness factor is why the prices are much higher...your Billie 6112-5160 setup will be stellar and feel great! Bilstein make great products and that's why MANY manufacturers use them as their OEM choice. Fox is purpose built and feel incredible, too...Fox has a higher QC and QA for their "higher-end" product, but will also likely require more frequent rebuilding than the Billies...

Speaking of what works and for how long, DK just switched from using Moog ball joints to Mevotech ball joints.
