God there was a clip I saw on IG of a crackhead with a sound system like Beau's in the backseat, and instantly thought "Oh look that's Beau in 10 years". The end of the clip flips around and the dude is driving a FGT. Just about died laughing.

One of my FL friends recently bought a house up here. Older brick house, big stairs up to the main level, square ½" wrought iron banister the whole way up. I turned around while leaving, my knee buckled, and took the corner of one of the banister vertical bars right square in the kneecap. It did something fucky, I think to the fat/wide tendon that holds your kneecap on/in-place. It hasn't been the same since. Going on 6 months now, and if I drive for 2-3 hours, just having my knee half-cocked will give me a dull throbbing ache on top of my kneecap.

I'm telling you, I didn't know what to expect. In my 30s I was still invincible. I noticed a slight decline going into my 40s. A decade later, and I legitimately am, like, "If the last 10-15 years were this much of a change, where the fuck am I gonna be at 65?!"

Mine form like the mucous cyst location but on the next joint down. Mainly on index and middle finger. And of course, they stick up about 1/4" and get hit reaching into cabinets and such and hurt like hell.

I had a ganglion removed from behind my right thumb way back in the late seventies but over the past few years I've had "trigger finger" issues and one finally got to the point where the hand specialist removed one of the fused tendons. That fixed it but now I have 2 more starting to act up. Irregular cortisone shots are keeping the surgery at bay for now. If you've got a finger locking back against your palm see a hand specialist. They can do wonders by removing the fused tendon and it's a wide awake out patient procedure. Post-op rehab is squeezing a rubber ball.

Sometimes it helps me put things in perspective by searching Google Images for what other people have got. Here's two that may make you feel a bit better, hopefully if you have ganglions, they're not this bad.

I luckily have an awesome dad and he has always been awesome. But we didn't work on a lot of vehicles growing up. More just around the house stuff. I've youtube and forum learned pretty much everything I've learned so far to work on this truck. It helps to be comfortable with tools, which I am from woodworking and stuff like that.

This forum is honestly the best. My work buddy and my wife joke with me because I'm on here a lot learning stuff, but I love it. Be nice and help people. There are some goofy jabs on here but all in jest, and in the end 99% of the people on here are super helpful.

Love this place, and (most of) you guys!

Dale had a little workplace accident yesterday breaking his 4th and 5th metatarsals.

He's doing great, and high as hell

Don't want to get sentimental or anything, but I've been on a lot of forums. This is definitely one of the best I've seen as far as 'caliber of people' goes. Solid crowd.

I’ve been by a couple of times before we actually met. Y’all’s shop is comparable in cleanliness and organization to Audi down the road. And that’s every damn time.

Anyone know what this means on FedEx shipment?
First time I’ve ever seen them use it.
Showed up on second day of shipping.

    Thanks.
Couldn’t find it trying to search their website on my phone.
Last time it took them over 10 days of it on the delivery truck before I tracked him down to get my radiator, and never got an exclamation.
I actually had to find the FedEx truck to get it. Said he couldn’t find the address which was strange considering they delivered stuff to the exact same address every day it was on the truck!

Maybe they started showing it on my tracking because of the ruckus I raised over it last time.

FedEx has gone to hell in my area since they went to sub-contracting out the end deliveries.
