I’m a big F1 fan. The company I use to work for sponsored Kevin Harvick and Stewart Hass Racing. I got to go to their NASCAR and F1 shops in Concord, NC and see one of the Hass F1 cars up close. It was pretty cool to get a close look at all the engineering that goes into these cars.

It was fun watching the McLarens race for a while, until Norris drove away with it. Seems like it always rains in England, although I kind of like the rain races.

Cooler weather helps Mercedes which helps Russel which helps the silly season rumors with Max which helps Red Bull fall apart. And repeat.

For some reason I am really enjoying the Max rumors.

And rain…I think a good rain race right now can help anyone else win a race. Since I love a good underdog story, Lewis for the win!

A good race overall. I think Silverstone might be the top bucket list destination for a F1 race. Thought Lewis might have a serious chance until the weather set in.

Great to see the Hulk get a podium! Wife saw on the socials that they didn’t have any champagne in their paddock so Mercedes and Aston Martin stocked them up. Class act.

A great analysis of Oscar’s penalty and why the FIA took issue with his maneuver.

Never been a big fan of Oscar or Lando, but Oscar’s pouting on the podium was pathetic. Fully supported his short post-race interview and slouching in the cool down room. But pull your camel toe out for the formal ceremony you little…

Great race at Silverstone - tons of action! Tire strategy, weather strategy, crashes, clashes, penalties, the race brought a little bit of everything!

Oscar is slowly losing his championship lead, I think he knew how big of a mistake he made on the 2nd safety car restart. Definitely a little pouty, but he’s pretty even Steven on the emotions front.

I’m not a huge Verstappen fan (respect him, hell of a racer, but not my favorite off track), so watching Oscars brake check totally work to cool off Max’s tires was pretty interesting to watch. Added more drama for sure!

Used to watch F1 every Sunday afternoon (lived in the UK until around 2001). Have not watched it since I left the UK, but it has repiqued my interest and may get into it again. I still remember people like Damon Hill, Michael Schumacher and that terrible weekend in 1994 when we lost Senna and Ratzenberger.
Only found out a couple of days ago that they stopped refueling during pit stops!

If they were winning the driver or constructor, Horner would be around. Not shocked that he got sh*t canned between the scandal from last year and the piss poor performance this year.

The real question is where does Max end up? Aston with Adrian Newey designed cars, or Mercedes?

Pretty bold move for a guy that managed 8 driver's and 6 constructor championships. Me thinks Jos fued, texting scandal, 2026 car development issues. Horner probably should of resigned after texting scandal.

Funny enough I actually thought last week that if Red Bull was a normal corporation that Horner would have been fired by now… but assumed he was too protected. Guess not!

Everything I have read this far suggests this probably ensures Max stays with Red Bull. I dunno.. he wants to finish his career there but needs to be winning. This could be the reason he leaves even if he didn’t like Horner

There is likely more to this story……the scandal last year was bad, verstappen’s dad response was damning and performance this year was down. But there is no way you get rid of a principal even with the shortcomings this year with his track record unless something is about to be uncovered……methinks there is something brewing. The leak that verstappen was openly being pursued and considering Mercedes could have been enough for Red Bull to hedge their bets but I don’t believe for one second that there isn’t more to this story

Crazy times for F1 !! All adds to the excitement for next year imo lol. I got a kick outta Kimi and Ollie weren’t even born when Christian took over Red Bull !!! Wild !
Loved seeing Nico on the podium after 15 years . Kinda fked up Oscar and Lando didn’t drown the guy with excitement for him . Max would have !! At least Lando brought his helmet into the cool down room for him lol. Silver stone was a fun one !
My evil mind thinks Max and Kimi in an all new car and engine that could be tweaked for each style at the start would be a recipe for podiums and championships .

Can’t wait for next “ LIGHTS OUT “
