I have "health drama" that limits my ability to move around too much as I need consistent medical care and meds to keep me healthy. Otherwise, I would be more open to moving around the Country checking different places out.

As much as someone fed up with CA stupidity and understanding the cause of the problems there would be welcome in Wyoming, it is a medical care desert. Id recommend against coming here for that reason.

No different than "universal care for all" places where you wait 6 months to see a doctor and you have a serious life threatening disease, and you die before your appointment.

No, you get seen, but they are not good doctors 99% of the time.

I personally know a couple Canucks that may have been seen, but dropped down to Vancouver, WA and spent some of their life savings to get taken care of. Not uncommon for folks to go to Thailand or India.

funny, never had that happen here. You must have a lot of experience with Canadian health care.

I'll more than likely just go back to Arizona. With a true remote job I can move to a place like Prescott and avoid the blistering summer heat of the valley and basin while only being a couple of hours from Phoenix Sky Harbor if I ever need to catch a flight somewhere.

But before any of that happens, I need to land the job, meditate and pray on things a bit before making any decisions.

    But as Vasili said...

True. Zero experience. Canada is a BIG country. BIG as you know of course. From what I understand, if you live in a less populated province, odds are good you will get deccent health care, better doctors, and less wait times than more populated cities in the east. May have a substantial drive. It is a FACT that I know a couple Canuck friends and the wife needed URGENT care for a very serious health issue and drove to Vancouver, WA to get the required care and spent thousands of $ of their savings to get her taken care of. Not uncommon at all. A fact. Just sayin

Got a first come, first serve dry camp site with a lot of shade.
Hopefully we're far enough in the mountains to get some cool nights.

Montana is an awesome place (a must see) and you can get top notch medical care but If your not prepared for sup freezing and sub 0 temps for four to six months a year you probably wouldn't enjoy living there

When I drove back down from AK in 2012, I dropped down to Great Falls. Dark. Tired. Stopped at a truck stop and grabbed a shower. Woke up in the morning...holy crap! What a beautiful state! Continued on to Helena. Another holy crap! Billings and on southeast and dropped into Wyoming. Wyoming started out holy crap too, until I hit eastern Wyoming. Bleak. More wildlife than humans. A good bleak BTW. FREE state. Montana is known for anti development which is good. Colorado does suck a bit now. I'm in Alamosa which is away from the BS. So far..

"Astrid" is a rescue dog. Norse name. Rescued me prolly. Was a stray. Her nose apparently got sunburned bad. I use a salve. She licks it off. Permanently scared it seems. Wonderful dog!
