Definitely looks intriguing!!! Thanks for posting the link. I really like the free shipping countdown that resets every time you refresh or revisit the page.

I've had that one installed for a while now. I only use it occasionally, but no issues to report:

I wonder if it could be installed inside the consol safe.

Like this one...? I suppose you could, if you're willing to drill into your safe. IIRC the harness is long enough to reach but wouldn't be too hard to lengthen if needed. I'm not sure the switch itself has enough threads to reach through the console and the safe?

You'd have to make sure nothing in there bounces around while driving and flips it off.

Thanks for the input guys. I have debated where to place the switch, or even replace the switch with something different. I'm assuming its just a 12v toggle switch, so anything like that should work.

    I'll definitely keep you updated.

(now i'm intrigued in a console vault)..

Keep an eye out in the Deals and Group Buys section, Console Vaults tend to go on sale every few months.

Got it installed. Works perfect. Didn't take too long. Just trying to figure out where to put the switch and route the wires there was the tedious part.

    None at this point.
If you live in an area or go to areas where car theft is common absolutely!!!
If it were me I'd put it in some obscure place where no one would think to look.

I have this installed in my Trackhawk and GT500. Both are high target cars. A bit pricier but for me peace of mind. Wired to fuel pump, starter and ignition. The problem with a switch, is the switch will be found.

I was looking at doing this. Kinda like hiding in plain sight. Was going to look at different aux buttons...

This from Yota page on Tundra switches. I would imagine the kill switch would be red for one side and green for the other. (I will defer to others as I am a wiring novice as well)
