A little more tire clearance and getting rid of the ugly factory reservoir. Who the hell needs two gallons of windshield fluid? lol

The aluminum Chase Bays reservoir isn't. I was referring to the factory tank.

Right. I'm shocked the factory one is so large.

Factory reservoir is 3.5 liters just under a gallon. It will hold a full gallon with the filler neck.

I see a Camburg tubular UCA here, any reason you went tubular over billet?

It’s a temporary unit until I get a long travel kit. I’m a fan of tubular arms though. Plenty strong and no flashy business. Lol

Thought I was the only one that prefers this grill to the pro one!

Fantastic build. Just read through the whole thing and was very much entertained!

Thanks! This grill works out better with my light bar setup, but that’ll have to change soon to make room for the Magnuson Radiator. Gonna try to modify its mounting location to keep the light bars though.

Bought a couple larger Derale units to come up with a dual trans cooler setup in the bed after building my tire carrier, but decided to wait since a shock tower/bed cage may be in the near future and I'd rather build upon that. Until then, I needed something to help with the temps when off-road, especially on the dunes. I had a smaller Derale unit on the workbench, so as a temporary setup, I put it on the backside of the bumper. It's very rigid and isn't going to vibrate or fall off. Stainless mesh screen to deflect debris. It's honestly more fortified than being behind a bunch of plastic. Bottom line: It works. Heading to the Alvord Desert in less than a week and will be able to get some good temp comparisons.

Do you have it on a manual switch or triggered?

I have the fan wired to my Switch Pro, so I can run it whenever I want or need.
