I'm trying to become more of a DIY, but I haven't dealt with this and not sure what I'm looking at. Bought my son a 2011 4.6 2wd recently with 170k. I noticed after we had it a few days there was almost no coolant in the reservoir. So I filled it up. This morning I noticed a pool under the front left end under the front skid plate. I thought it was oil, but it appears to be coolant. Sorry the pics aren't good, because of the skid plate. Anyone have ideas here? Never fixed coolant issues before, should I take it to a mechanic or is it fixable.

    Too many, but not enough....
I would first see where the leak is. Fill it up and check while its actively leaking.
