VEVOR only shows application for '07-'21 Tundra. :(

The Realtruck SwingCases are available for 3rd gen's. I have a set on my 2nd gen (2011), and I love them.

The mounting hardware is metal, but the cases themselves are plastic. Pretty durable, but you want to be mindful of putting insanely heavy items in the. I have a Milwaukee impact driver, impact sockets, regular 3/8" socket set in one side (with some tie downs and road flares), and the case handles that well. The other side has jumper cables, tow strap, a folding step stool, a trenching tool, and some small tool items. They work well for my needs. I put a sub behind the rear seat of my Crewmax, so I had to clear out what I had stowed behind the seats, and the SwingCases were perfect for that utility. If you need a really heavy duty tool box and/or larger capacity, you might want to look at a different product.

I have not had to transport sheets of wood since I've had these (yet). The cases stick out 1" past each wheel well. The distance between the wheel wells is slightly over 49". The distance between the cases is a little over 47". I have about 2" of space between the bed and the bottom of the cases, so if I only need a sheet or two, I'm good (with a couple of feet hanging out of the lowered tailgate, if I don't have the lumber cut at the store before transport). Mind you, that is on a 2011. I don't know any of the bed dimensions or measurements on a 3rd gen.
