No, what speed is it doing it at? Do you have a hybrid?

Give us some more details on when it's happening. Any symptoms before it stalls?

Oddly enough mine wanted to stall last night after putting gas in it. Didn't think anything of it until I read your post... Was at a stop, truck running in park and the RPMs went down to around 400 and it sounded and acted like it was misfiring. Bumped the throttle and it revved up to around 1,500 RPM and stayed there until I put it back into gear. It didn't actually stall but it sure seemed like it wanted to

The start/stop feature on my wife’s Pilot was causing hers to stall out. They have since fixed the issue, but I hate that feature so much.

I’m in the habit of hitting that button to turn it off right after I start my truck every time.

If you are talking about when you hit the accelerator when pulling out into to traffic and the Tundra just sits there for a second or two before it finally gets up and goes....then yes!!! This is a problem Toyota knows it has, but only will admit it occurs in earlier models 22 & 23 (I think). There was a software upgrade for those years, but Toyota won't acknowledge there are some 24s also having that issue. It is driving me nuts.

2 of our 4 ‘24 SR (late ‘23 builds) has done it, one only a couple of times and the other happened a few times. They went over them last month and say “no problems found”. We’re on the cusp of a new season and we’ll put another 25k+ miles on them in 5-6 months, so we’ll see if it resurfaces, and how often, and go from there after the season.

Does anyone know how many 24's are having this issue and are there any stat's on VIN #'s or other grouping methods of which 24's are doing this?

I feel like my 24 with a build date of 5/24 has this issue but it's only happened a couple times and I can't seem to easily replicate it.

My 04/24 build does it every time I put it in Park. That and my drivers side mirrors screeches horribly when folding in

I thought all the fuel/engine issues from 2022-23 were fixed in the 2024 gen? I guess not.

Note, are there any TSB's on this 2024 stalling issue? If so, where? Thanks

Well, i answered my own question asked above. Here's the info:

    AI Overview
    upload_2025-7-5_7-36-36.png

Yes, there have been reports of stalling issues with the 2024 Toyota Tundra, particularly with the twin-turbo V6 engine. These issues include sudden stalling, loss of power, and even complete engine failure, sometimes at highway speeds. Some owners have also reported hesitation and jerking when accelerating after slowing down. These problems have led to a Toyota recall for certain 2022 and 2023 Tundras, and some owners of 2024 models are also experiencing similar issues, though they are not currently covered under the recall.
    Details:
    • Engine Issues:
The 3.4-liter twin-turbo V6 engine in the 2022-2024 Tundra has been a focal point for complaints, including engine knocking, ticking, and stalling.
    • Debris in Engine:
A Toyota recall for 2022 and 2023 Tundras cited debris from the manufacturing process as the cause of engine issues, including stalling.
    • 2024 Tundra Recall:
While the initial recall focused on 2022-2023 models, some owners of 2024 Tundras have reported similar problems and are seeking inclusion in the recall.
    • Potential Causes:
Apart from the debris issue, other potential causes of stalling include fuel system issues (like a clogged fuel filter or failing fuel pump), ignition system problems (faulty spark plugs or coils), airflow obstructions, sensor failures, electrical issues, and vacuum leaks.
    • Symptoms:
Besides complete stalling, some drivers have reported hesitation and jerking when accelerating after slowing down. Some have also experienced vibrations at highway speeds and loss of power when climbing hills.
    • Owner Experiences:
One Reddit thread describes a 2024 Tundra experiencing a significant loss of power, with check engine and other warnings, while pulling a grade. Another owner reports their 2024 Tundra stalled twice while slowing down to turn, nearly causing a rear-end collision.
    • Legal Action:
A lawsuit against Toyota alleges that the engine defect in the Tundra is a safety concern and has caused financial harm to owners.
    • Toyota's Response:
Toyota has stated that they are addressing the issue and will replace engines for affected vehicles.
