Do the factory TRD Pro light bars fit if your truck has the grille shutter? I did a quick search and didn’t see a thread on this particular question, so I am sorry if this has been answered and I didn’t see it.

Okay I lied. I need help. I was given a TRD light bar and would love to put it on. I installed the TRD Pro grille of course, however I’m being told that without the support bracket that runs vertically behind the light bar the grille is not strong enough to support the light bar. With the grille shutter behind the light bar there is no room for this support bracket. Does anyone have a solution to this? It does not appear that’s there is room to put spacers to move the shutter back an inch or so….or maybe I’m wrong and you can…???

Your biggest problem is going to be powering and switching it. Best to go aftermarket light.

Fair point, but I would assume you would just supply power to it via a toggle switch and you’re good to go…..no? I found the EWD for the light bar and found the 2 pins required for power.
