Looking at the FSM it has a procedure for pulling the engine with the transmission attached on 2WD. But under 4WD it has you pulling the transmission off before lifting the engine. Just curious if anyone has pulled a 4WD engine with the transmission connected? Im wondering if the transfer case gets in the way on the 4WD.

Also do any of you have a recommendation on pulling the engine with the transmission staying in the truck VS taking the transmission off and then pulling the engine?
