So when you purchase a 2 year old home you think man-tenance is going to be pretty low. Back yard security light let the smoke out last night. Surprised as this home was only used seasonally (summer) and only for one year. It's a dusk to dawn so it does get solid use, but still. Off to HomeSleepo, going with HALO brand this time.

No receipts, so I decided to do an autopsy.

If there are more, I'd just swap them all out. Random fire around my house isn't helpful to my sleep patterns! I know its small and probably would never spread. But I don't trust anything

    Good catch!

Right right, I know. I actually bought 2 today. If my house was wood siding ide be more worried, but it's steel pole barn siding. Think I'm going to wait the next one out... If that doesn't pan out I'll post pictures of the aftermath

I ceramic coated the lens on it before install. It's like an insect rave around that light every night :bananadance:. A little different mounting pattern. Some dielectric grease in those holes and plugged them up.

A little side bar maintenance on the Husqvarna 240. Been a damn good little saw for at least 14 years. Just the right size for me. She's gotten some hard miles since we moved rural.

Ceramic coating the barn lights. That's a new level, and I'm here for it

It's a test LOL, my theory is when it gets dirty from bugs I can just take a hose to it and it will blast right off?
But once I discovered the wonders of ceramic... It's kinda been like Frank's, I put that shit on everything.
