I am wondering the best / easiest way to fix broken studs on the EGR tube at the back of the engine where the two flanges come together just above the back of the exhaust manifold. I am not wanting to pull the heads since I just completed a timing belt service. The factory service manual show the engine and transmission can be pulled out as one unit. If this is so, I would rather explore this option and keep the engine intact and not make the job any more tougher than it needs to be. Does anyone have advice as to what they've done in the past. Truck has 92k miles. Thanks for the input!
